The Method: Clean Floors That Last
Step 1: Sweep or Vacuum First
This is non-negotiable. Mopping over dirt just pushes it around. Always remove loose dirt first.
Step 2: Mix Your Solution
In a bucket, combine:

10-15 drops essential oil (if using)
Stir gently to combine.
Step 3: Mop
Dip your mop, wring it out well (a wet mop leaves streaks), and mop as usual. The solution works on:

Laminate (use sparingly—don’t soak)

Sealed hardwood (use the vinegar-free version below)
Step 4: Air Dry
Let the floor air dry. The vinegar smell will disappear completely as it dries, leaving only the scent of your essential oils (if used) and a clean, fresh floor.
